Article 14.2(f). To ensure fair and transparent processing, the controller shall provide the data subject from which source the personal data originated and whether it came from publicly accessible sources.

Your rights and choices as per Article 15.1 of the GDPR
The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the following information:
- Purposes of the processing
- RampedUp relies principally on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), subject to the safeguards we defined in our Legitimate-interest assessment.
- Standard categories of personal data
- Names, employers, addresses, phone numbers, social media, and email addresses.
- The right to access the data, its source and erasure
- RampedUp provides privacy mechanisms through which individuals can request access to, correction of, or removal of personal information associated with them, subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification.
Our process for handling subject access requests as per Article 15.3
- Subject provides information believed to be managed by RampedUp into the DO NOT SELL portal.
- Subject must authenticate the email address provided to view the data associated with the information submitted.
- If we do not have submitted information in our system, then a typical response is NO DATA FOUND.
- Otherwise, subject may view the data associated with what was submitted within the DO NOT SELL portal. Subject may also direct RampedUp to revise or erase.
- The sources of that data are provided in the portal and email.
- Based on where the subject resides, we will share the businesses that have accessed the data.
- All Opt Outs are assigned a unique ID and given to our customers to remove from their database, if they are so inclined — rampedup.io/opt-out-list.
- We notify our customers about updates to the portal every 30 days.
- The information is kept on file so as not to be processed in the future.
Authentication requirements
Both a subject and an authorized agent must submit and authenticate requests through the online form as a security measure to detect fraudulent activity and prevent the unauthorized access to or delete a consumer’s personal information.
If RampedUp has a good-faith, reasonable, and documented belief that a written request to opt-out is fraudulent, malicious, or an attempt to obtain personal information without the consent of the data subject, we have legal reason to deny the request and report the effort to the appropriate authorities.
This portal was created to streamline a self-service process. In accordance with Article 12.6 of the GDPR, if the email is not authenticated by the recipient, then the subject access request will not be granted.
RampedUp’s participation in the GDPR
RampedUp’s provision of privacy rights, access tools, correction mechanisms, or other GDPR-aligned safeguards should not be interpreted as a concession that the GDPR applies to every RampedUp record or processing activity involving a person located in Europe. As a US-based company that sources and houses data from other US-based companies solely within the US territory, RampedUp may provide such protections as a matter of applying best practices for privacy while separately reserving its position regarding territorial applicability in any particular case.

Article 15.4 states we cannot discuss our positioning or policies as it relates to an individual case as it would create an adverse impact on subjects who did not receive specificities about their requests. As such, please reference our Privacy Policy if you have any questions about our business in general.
