Credits, and when they are spent
Contact credits are decremented after records are downloaded into a CSV or imported into Salesforce — not when a search is run. Customers cannot exceed their contact credit allocation.
Email validation runs in real time as a list is built. Where an address fails validation the recipient email is not populated, and you are not decremented a credit for it.
A Corporate Family preliminary scan consumes zero credits, so the size of a tree can be checked before any commitment.
